When you use MindKeep, we collect and process the following information:

• Phone number — used to identify your account and deliver messages via WhatsApp.
• Messages and voice notes — the content you send to MindKeep (text, audio) so we can set reminders, manage lists, and store memories on your behalf.
• Payment information — processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details directly.
• Timezone and language preferences — to deliver reminders at the right time and in the right language.

2. How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase with encryption at rest. Voice notes are transcribed and the transcription is stored — original audio files are not retained long-term. All connections use TLS encryption in transit.

3. Third-Party Services

MindKeep uses the following third-party services to operate:

• WhatsApp / Green-API — to send and receive messages on your behalf.
• OpenAI — to process natural language, understand your intent, and generate responses.
• Stripe — to process subscription payments securely.
• Google Calendar — optional integration to sync reminders with your calendar (only if you connect it).

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription or request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time by stopping use of the service.

The MindKeep website does not use tracking cookies. We may use essential cookies for functionality purposes only.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via WhatsApp or by posting a notice on our website.
